Dexios: The Right Hand of God — Honor, Power, and Enemies as Stepping Stones
Dexios · Part 1 of 2
When the right hand of God comes upon you, your enemies are no longer obstacles — they become the stepping stones to your next dimension.
The right hand of God — dexios in Greek — is not merely a symbol of blessing. It is the dimension of divine power, honor, grace, and glory that transforms ordinary believers into vessels of honor, where all things work together for good and enemies are positioned beneath their feet. This teaching unpacks the functions of the right hand of God, the difference between favor and grace, and what it means to move from fighting battles to having God Himself put your enemies under your feet.
Teaching Overview
- One of the functions of the right hand of God is that it lifts you up
- Number two, the right hand of God lifts. It honors and it lifts. Meaning it has the ability to exalt you
- Number 3. The right hand of God has pleasures
- It also glorifies
- Grace is not an eye eye
Key Distinctions
| Left Hand of God | Right Hand of God | |
|---|---|---|
| What it represents | Favor and blessing — opening doors for you | Power, strength, and divine grace |
| What it does | Opens doors and provides opportunity through individuals | Honors, lifts, exalts, glorifies, and grants pleasures |
| How it operates | Favor comes through one person who opens a door | Grace operates everywhere you go — things simply work |
| Battle dimension | Can accomplish a thousand — requires effort and working | Accomplishes ten thousand — with ease, without striving |
| Who benefits | Christians who walk by religion and what God used to do | Spiritual Christians walking in present and future with God |
| Enemies | Enemies must be fought and overcome | Enemies are positioned by God as stepping stones beneath your feet |
The Purpose of God Speaking
- Every encounter with God's voice increases your days, your assignment, and your provision.
- God never speaks merely for the sake of speaking — His intention is always to bless and increase.
- The will and purpose of God is always to add something upon your life, not simply to communicate.
"God never just speaks for the sake of speaking, but every time the Lord speaks, he speaks because his intention and his mind is always to bless you and to increase you."
What Prophets Can Give
- A person can only give what they possess — you can only receive what a man actually carries.
- God deposits into the prophet; the prophet then gives from that deposit, not merely from intercession.
- The prophet can speak and you will be blessed — it is about what God has deposited into man.
"What I have, I give you in the name of Jesus. Not what I pray for God to give you. So you are receiving something... what he deposited in us, we have marinated in it."
The Difference Between Left and Right Hand
- The left hand of God opens doors and provides favor; the right hand reveals divine strength and power.
- The left hand was created to support the right hand; the right hand was created to be the strength of the left.
- When God wants to bless someone or open a door, He uses the left hand; when strength must be revealed, He uses the right hand.
"There is something amazing when God uses his right hand upon a person. Whenever you see the Bible says, and the hand of the Lord was upon me, he is talking about the dexious hand of God."
The Functions of the Right Hand of God
- The primary function of the right hand of God is honor — making you a vessel of honor whose works God Himself endorses.
- The right hand lifts and exalts; it carries pleasures that satisfy the soul, not just external blessings.
- The right hand glorifies — God boasts of you, advertises you, and causes people to be drawn to you without knowing why.
"Whatever you do is now lifted because of honour that comes with the right hand of God. You are no longer just a regular person. But you have become a vessel of honour."
Favor vs. Grace
- Favor comes from the left hand — it is one person opening one door; it is limited to that individual's influence.
- Grace comes from the right hand — it is unmarried favor, operating everywhere you go, causing things to simply work.
- Those without spiritual access need favor from others; those who walk in the Spirit walk in grace and power.
"Favour is somebody who gives you an opportunity and who open a door for you, but it's just that one person. Grace is unmarried everywhere you go. Things will always just work."
The Five Levels of Grace
- There are five levels of grace: the grace of God, the grace of our Lord Jesus, the grace of a man from God, the grace of the Holy Spirit, and the grace of angels.
- Not every man of God carries grace — this is why some ministers remain poor or unfruitful despite holding the Word.
- A person who carries grace will always be more powerful than someone with mere gifting or eloquence.
"Grace is not an eye eye. And somebody that has grace will always be more powerful than somebody with an renting."
Greater Grace
- Grace can grow and increase — there is always greater grace available beyond the grace you currently carry.
- Greater grace performs greater things; Jesus cast out devils with the finger of God, revealing there is still a right hand dimension beyond what He demonstrated.
- One who walks in the right hand of God needs no prayer group to overcome enemies — a single person in greater grace can set ten thousand to flight.
"There is always greater grace and greater grace can perform greater things."
Spiritual Christian vs. Religious Christian
- A Christian flows with religion — what God used to do; a spiritual Christian walks with the insight of the Spirit in the present and future.
- Those who remain in religious patterns operate by the left hand, pursuing what used to be rather than what God is doing now.
- God is always doing something new; the spiritual Christian aligns with the new thing rather than defending the old.
"A spiritual Christian walks with the insight of the Spirit and what God is doing right now. They are not in the past. They're in the present and in the future with the what God is doing."
The Right Hand and the Position of Honor
- Jesus seated at the right hand of the Father occupies doxia — the position of special honor and power.
- Believers who are seated with Him in this position share in His authority over enemies.
- From this seated position, God Himself places enemies beneath your feet — you do not need to fight your way there.
"Doxia means the position of honor and power. A special place of honor and power. Jesus our Lord is seated at a special place of honor and power where enemies are being put under his feet."
Enemies as Stepping Stones
- There is a fundamental difference between trampling on your enemies through battle and having enemies positioned by God beneath your feet.
- When the right hand of God is upon you, enemies are stepping stones to your next dimension — not obstacles to be overcome.
- Job's trials were not merely hardships to endure — they were stepping stones to greater wealth, blessing, and fullness.
"There is a difference between trampling on your enemies and your enemies being put under your feet. When God is the one that is putting them, meaning they are being positioned to be under your feet."
Key Definitions
Dexios — The Greek word translated "right hand," representing not a literal hand but divine power, strength, and authority; the dimension of God that honors, lifts, exalts, and glorifies.
Doxia — The position of honor and power in which Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father; a special place from which enemies are put beneath His feet.
Grace — Inferred from the sermon: unmarried divine empowerment that operates everywhere you go, causing things to work effortlessly — distinguished from favor, which is limited to one person opening one door.
Favor — Inferred from the sermon: an opportunity granted by one individual who opens a door; a left-hand dimension that requires effort and continued striving to maintain.
Vessel of Honor — A believer upon whom the right hand of God rests, whose works God endorses and whose life reflects divine glory — people recognize something in them without knowing what it is.
Greater Grace — The progressive increase of grace beyond what is currently carried; the dimension in which one person can accomplish what prayer groups cannot, and where ten thousand enemies are set to flight.
Key Takeaways
- The right hand of God honors, lifts, exalts, provides pleasures, and glorifies — these are not vague blessings but specific functions that make you a vessel of honor whose works God personally endorses.
- Favor opens one door through one person; grace opens every door everywhere — understanding this distinction determines whether you spend your life seeking human connections or walking in divine empowerment.
- When God's right hand is upon you, enemies are not obstacles to defeat but stepping stones positioned by God — this shifts you from a posture of spiritual warfare to a posture of divine elevation.
- There are five levels of grace, and grace can always increase — you are not limited to the grace you currently carry; greater grace is always available and always performs greater things.
- Walking in God's purpose, not just His love, is what causes all things to work together for good — God can love you and you can be going to heaven, yet still miss the dimension where all things work for your good.
Reflection Questions
- Are you currently operating from the left hand dimension — depending on favor from specific people to open doors — or are you walking in the right hand dimension where grace operates everywhere you go? What would need to change for you to step into grace?
- How do you currently perceive the enemies and difficulties in your life? Are you straining to fight and overcome them, or do you believe they are being positioned by God as stepping stones to your next dimension?
- Are you a Christian or a spiritual Christian — flowing with what God used to do, or actively walking with what He is doing right now? What religious patterns might be keeping you in the left hand?
- Which of the five levels of grace are you currently experiencing? What is your pursuit of greater grace — are you actively seeking it or settling for the grace you already carry?
- In what area of your life have you been striving for five to ten years when the right hand of God could accomplish it in one? What is blocking your access to that dimension?
Prayers and Declarations

They right hand upon my life that you have placed. I place it also upon her. Let things in a life change in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen."
