Lies Like Truth: How Knowing God's Truth Breaks Every Yoke and Releases Every Blessing
The speed of your blessing is not determined by God's willingness — it is determined by your maturity in receiving what He has already provided.
Truth, not facts, determines your reality and freedom in Christ. The lie the enemy has sold the church is that bondage, delay, and struggle are signs of spiritual depth — but the evidence of true knowledge of God is broken yokes, not more yokes. When believers embrace God's truth — that they are blessed, delivered, and empowered through Jesus — transformation and blessing manifest naturally, without fight or contention.
Teaching Overview
- If you receive the gospel, it will prosper you.
Key Distinctions
| Facts | Truth | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | The observable, natural-realm diagnosis of your situation | God's eternal, unchanging declaration about your reality |
| Source | Senses, circumstances, medical reports, natural evidence | The Word of God; God's revealed reality |
| Effect when believed | Keeps you bound to what is presently visible | Makes you free; produces transformation naturally |
| Relationship to each other | Can exist simultaneously with truth | Supersedes and overrides facts |
| Example | You are broke | You are blessed and highly favoured |
| Danger | When treated as truth, facts become the foundation of a false reality | None — truth always liberates |
| Prophet | Pastor / Teacher / Apostle / Evangelist | |
|---|---|---|
| Basis of ministry | Total dependence on what God speaks in the moment | Can prepare and teach from Scripture study |
| Function | Says only what God is saying right now | Teaches, shepherds, and builds from prepared content |
| Limitation without God | Has nothing to say — is as lost as those seeking help | Can still minister from prepared Word |
| Primary role | To represent God's voice to the people | To represent God's Word to the people |
| Hypocrisy | Righteousness | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | Criticising others while claiming righteousness yourself | Dependence on Christ's actions, not your own |
| In Scripture | The first sign of departing from the faith (1 Timothy 4:2) | Received by faith; maintained by reliance on Jesus |
| Effect on others | Silences and attacks the voice of God in the church | Draws others to repentance through the goodness of God |
| Root | A conscience seared with a hot iron | A heart cleansed and transformed by truth |
| Self-Effort | God's Provision | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | Attempting to produce holiness, freedom, and blessing through personal discipline | Receiving what Christ has already accomplished and made available |
| Result | Continued bondage; self-dependency that hinders God's power | Natural transformation; broken yokes; blessing without struggle |
| Scriptural basis | Departs from the grace of salvation | "You are qualified by my actions, not yours" |
| How it appears | Highly anointed, busy in warfare, quoting Scripture — but no freedom | Reliance on God that is evident in action |
| Prosperity as the Gospel | Prosperity as Part of the Gospel | |
|---|---|---|
| What it claims | We are saved for silver and gold; blessing is the central message | Receiving the gospel will prosper you — blessing follows the truth |
| Biblical accuracy | False — this is not the gospel | True — God provides all needs; you shall lend to nations |
| Danger | Reduces salvation to material gain | No danger when received in truth |
| Scriptural support | None | 3 John 1:2; Deuteronomy 28 |
| Absence of Devils | Presence of Blessing | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | The removal of demonic opposition | The active dwelling of the Lord with you |
| Does it guarantee breakthrough? | No — people without demons still suffer | Yes — God's hand upon you changes everything |
| What produces it | Spiritual warfare focus | Knowing and walking with God |
| Biblical basis | 1 John 4:4 (greater is He in you) | "Has God placed His hand on you?" |
| Word Alone | Word and Power | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | Preaching without accompanying signs and manifestations | The complete gospel — proclamation with demonstration |
| Historical basis | No precedent in Scripture | Jesus sent disciples to preach and demonstrate |
| Result | An incomplete gospel | People healed, set free, and delivered |
| Danger of Word alone | People make God in their own image; power is absent | None |
Truth Is Not the Same as Facts
- Facts describe what is observable in the natural realm; truth describes what God has declared about your reality.
- When facts are treated as truth, they become the foundation of a false reality that keeps believers bound.
- The enemy's primary tool is not outright lies — it is presenting facts as though they are the final word, seducing believers away from God's truth.
"Facts are not truth. I'm gonna say that one more time. Facts are not truth."
The Evidence of True Knowledge Is Freedom
- The yoke is broken because of the anointing — broken yokes are the evidence of true knowledge of God, not more yokes.
- Truth is not supposed to bind you — the truth releases you from bondage, liberates you, and breaks chains.
- Where truth is present, transformation is natural, not a fight; there is no contention — things shift without struggle.
"The truth is supposed to make you free. The truth is not supposed to bind you. The truth does not put you in bondage."
The Absence of Devils Is Not the Presence of Blessing
- Obsession with midnight warfare against demons reveals an unbelief that the devil is already under your feet.
- Jesus went to be alone with His Father, not with demons — intimacy with God is not binding principalities.
- The presence of the blessing is the person of the Lord dwelling with you, not the removal of demonic opposition.
"The absence of devils is not the presence of the blessing. The presence of the blessing is the person of the Lord dwelling with you."
The Speed of Blessing Is Determined by Your Maturity
- God lives in an eternal now — He cannot make a promise to bless you fifty years later; the delay always comes from the believer, not from God.
- When you enter into the truth of what God is speaking right now, the blessing comes right now.
- The delay of miracles and the supernatural hand of God comes from our posture and inability to receive, not from God's withholding.
"The speed of the blessing is measured according to your maturity."
The Prophetic Ministry Requires Total Dependence on God's Voice
- A prophet cannot function without God speaking — preparation and study cannot substitute for hearing the voice of God in the moment.
- If God does not speak, the prophet has nothing to say; the duty is to declare what God says, not to represent oneself.
- Prophetic timing is critical — a prophecy can be accurate but given at the wrong time, making it unhelpful to the person receiving it.
"A prophet can't function without God speaking."
"My ambition is always to point you to what the Lord Jesus is saying right now."
Departing from the Faith and Seducing Spirits
- The Holy Spirit expressly warns that in latter times some shall depart from the faith — some who call themselves Christians have already left Christ without knowing it.
- A seducing spirit does not lead people into obvious Satanism; it entices, alters the perception of truth, and draws people gradually into doctrines of devils.
- The first sign of departing from the faith is hypocrisy — becoming a critic of others while claiming righteousness, when all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.
"We are attacking the virtue of the voice of God in the church so that people don't seek to hear God anymore."
Doctrines of Devils Forbid What God Wants to Give You
- Doctrines of devils begin by making the things God wants to give you appear wrong or ungodly.
- God has sanctified His provisions to be received with thanksgiving — the truth ensures that what you receive does not own you; you own it.
- Silver and gold belong to God — they are not worldly; calling God's provisions worldly contradicts His own claim of ownership.
"God is not forbidding you from anything as long as you know the truth."
Prosperity Is Part of the Gospel
- Prosperity is not the gospel — believers are not saved for silver and gold — but to claim silver and gold are not part of the gospel is a lie.
- If God provides all your needs and commands that you shall lend to nations, then material provision is inseparable from the covenant of blessing.
- The goodness of God brings people to repentance — the church has reversed this by demanding repentance before allowing people to see God's goodness.
"Prosperity is not the gospel, but prosperity is part of the gospel."
Qualifying by Christ's Actions, Not Your Own
- You did not get born again because of your own actions — Christ's actions saved you, and you remain qualified by His actions alone.
- The lie of the enemy is that you must stop sinning through personal effort; the truth is that you are a new creation and sin no longer applies.
- A man or woman of God is powerful according to their reliance on God, not according to what they say — the power is evident in actions.
"You have chosen the truth, that you are no longer alive, so sin no longer applies."
Spiritual Lineage and Receiving Counsel
- You are never supposed to read the Bible alone and interpret it in isolation — the interpretation of the church fathers exists to guide believers.
- God always introduces Himself according to spiritual lineage — it has never been the case that a person finds God entirely by themselves.
- Receiving counsel requires humility — when you reach out to someone who knows more, you must receive their help without arguing or advising them.
"Success is not created, it's replicated."
Key Definitions
Truth — God's eternal, unchanging declaration about your reality, which supersedes and overrides any natural-realm fact; the force that liberates, transforms, and produces breakthrough naturally without struggle.
Facts — Observable, natural-realm conditions (illness, poverty, failure) that exist but do not constitute the final word on any situation; facts become dangerous when mistaken for truth.
Seducing Spirit — A demonic force that entices and alters a person's perception of truth gradually and pleasurably, drawing them into doctrines of devils without them recognising the deception.
Doctrines of Devils — False teachings that cause believers to forbid, fear, or reject the good things God wants to give them — not obvious devil worship, but subtly false doctrine that leads people away from God's truth.
Prophetic Ministry — A ministry of total dependence on God's voice in the moment; distinct from pastoral and teaching ministry in that a prophet cannot function or speak without first hearing what God is saying right now.
The Speed of Blessing — The rate at which God's provision manifests in a believer's life, determined entirely by the believer's maturity and posture of receiving — never by God's willingness or timing.
Key Takeaways
- Truth, not facts, determines your reality — Until you learn to separate God's truth from the facts of your circumstances, the enemy can use observable conditions to keep you perpetually bound.
- The delay of blessing comes from us, not from God — God lives in an eternal now and cannot defer blessing to a future date; the gap between promise and manifestation is always a posture and maturity issue on the believer's side.
- The absence of demonic opposition is not the same as the presence of blessing — Spiritual warfare obsession can displace intimacy with God, and it is the presence of God — not the absence of demons — that produces breakthrough.
- Prosperity is part of the gospel — Rejecting material provision as ungodly is itself a doctrine of devils; God's provisions are sanctified and meant to be received with thanksgiving by those who know the truth.
- You are qualified by Christ's actions, not your own — Self-effort and self-dependency are the most common reasons God's power is absent in the church; reliance on what Jesus has already done is the foundation of all transformation.
Reflection Questions
- When you face a difficult diagnosis — financial, medical, relational — which do you instinctively treat as final: the fact or God's truth? What would shift in your daily decisions if you consistently anchored yourself to truth first?
- How much of your spiritual life has been spent in warfare, fasting, or striving — and how much in intimacy with God? Does the ratio reflect a belief that the devil is already under your feet?
- Is there a blessing, provision, or open door that you have been refusing or fearing because of a subtle doctrine — the belief that holy people don't desire or receive such things? What does God's Word actually say about it?
- When you have sought help — spiritually, practically, or professionally — have you received it with full humility, or have you been advising the person sent to help you? What is the cost of that posture?
- In what area of your life are you still trying to qualify yourself before God through your own effort, rather than resting in what Christ has already accomplished on your behalf?
Prayers and Declarations
"Father, visit all your people. Answer their prayer today. Whatever is missing in their life, replenish it. Whatever they don't have, give it to them."
"I silence the voice of the enemy and their accuser over their life."
"You are blessed. You are delivered. You are increased in the mighty name of Jesus."
"The blessing of God is your portion. Success is your portion. Open doors is your portion. Whatever you lay your hand on must prosper. You will prosper in everything that you do, because it is the Lord's will."
If you believe it, type Amen — it is done.
"Father bless your people, increase them as they give to You. Remember them in every case and in every situation. For Your own sake, in the mighty name of Jesus."
"God bless you guys and may the peace of God be with you and may God be with you this entire week."
