Pisteuo: The Highest Level of Faith

Pisteuo: The Highest Level of Faith

Pisteuo [Highest Level Of Faith] · Part 1 of 4

Part 2
Teaching by Prophet Lovy L. Elias · Watch on YouTube · 18 November 2019

True faith ascends beyond promise and will — until your words carry the creative authority of God Himself.

Faith is not a single dimension. There are levels of faith, and most believers have only ever operated in the lowest one. This teaching unveils three ascending dimensions of faith — promise-based faith, will-based faith, and Pisteuo — and reveals why Pisteuo is the faith of God Himself, where whatever you speak comes to pass and whatever your feet touch, you possess.

Teaching Overview

  1. The first dimension of faith operates through the promises of God — it is good, but it is limited to what God said will be and is tied to a future timeline.
  2. The second dimension of faith operates through the will of God — healing and prosperity are not promises but revealed will, established through the cross, and this dimension is better than promise-based faith.
  3. Pisteuo is the highest dimension of faith — it operates beyond both promise and will, giving the believer creative authority where every word spoken comes to pass and every place the feet tread is possessed.
  4. Spiritual growth and spiritual transfer are inseparable from sacrifice — nothing in God's kingdom moves spiritually without cost, and giving is the foundational practice through which believers access both spiritual and natural blessings.

The Foundation of Every Believer's Assignment

  • God has given everybody an assignment — evangelist, pastor, prophet, teacher — and the biggest problem is that people are not receiving a message from God because they are focused on what others are doing instead of what God gave them to do.
  • Popularity is not greatness — the evidence of the manifestation of God proves who is operating in truth.
  • The evidence of a great man is the fruit he produces and how many people he turns to Christ.

Listening to the Right Foundation

  • Listening to too many people is dangerous because ministers function in different levels and different foundations — a foundation that can accommodate one floor cannot judge the foundation built for six or seven floors.
  • Different doctrines of angels, faith, and spiritual things reflect different jurisdictions — not all error, but different levels of classified understanding.
  • What you do not name, you cannot control — God has given names to everything, including angels, and those who teach that angels have no names have simply never received the grace to know them.

The First Dimension of Faith: Operating in the Promises of God

  • The first dimension of faith is powerful but limited — it is confined to what God said will be and is tied to a future timeline.
  • "You shall be great" is not the same as "you are great" — promise-based faith operates in the future tense, not the present.
  • Mustard seed faith is the lowest level of faith — Jesus was not commending it, He was condemning it.

"Jesus was condemning faith like a mustard seed. He was saying, it's not good."

  • Someone operating in this dimension waits on God's time and God's mind — which is good but is not the best.

The Second Dimension of Faith: Operating in the Will of God

  • The will of God and the promise of God are two different things — will has already been enacted, while promise is yet to come.
  • Jesus did not promise healing — He established healing on the cross; by His stripes, healing is already done.
  • Cancer is on the cross. AIDS is on the cross. Blood pressure is on the cross — these are not promises awaiting fulfillment; they are the revealed will of God.

"Healing is not connected to a promise. There is no promise of healing. God has been trying to heal people forever because it is will. He never created anybody to be sick."

  • When Jesus healed the woman with the bent back on the Sabbath, He did not ask her permission — healing was already His will, and He acted on it immediately.
  • When you pray according to His will, you can stand and declare with confidence: "I am healed. I am prospering."

The Third Dimension: Pisteuo — The Highest Level of Faith

  • Pisteuo is the faith of God Himself — it operates beyond promise and beyond will, giving the believer creative authority.
  • Someone operating in Pisteuo does not need to be told where to go — whatsoever their feet tread, they possess it.
  • The prophet Samuel operated in Pisteuo — no word Samuel spoke ever fell to the ground, not because God revealed each thing, but because Samuel's word itself carried the authority of God.

"No word of Samuel ever fell to the ground. Pistio is the faith of God Himself."

Types of Prophets and the Pisteuo Office

  • There are three types of prophets: those who operate with what God is currently saying, those who operate by revelation of what God has shown them, and those who operate in Pisteuo.
  • A prophet operating only in promise or will can tell you what God is showing — but if God is not saying anything, they have nothing that will change your life.
  • A prophet operating in the Pisteuo office carries the ability to change the course of your life by one word — their word produces results without requiring a new instruction from God.

"A prophet who is operating in the office of a prophet, in the dimension of the Pisteuo faith, which is the faith of God himself, has their ability to change the course of your life by one word."

Spiritual Growth Requires Sacrifice

  • Spiritual things can never be transferred without sacrifice — the Holy Spirit was only made available because Jesus was sacrificed.
  • No altar functions without a sacrifice — this is not merely a church practice but a foundational spiritual law.
  • God Himself, though all-powerful, could not reverse what Adam and Eve did without sacrificing — He had to come as a human being and give Himself up.

"Spiritual things can never be transferred unless there is a sacrifice. There is no altar that functions without a sacrifice."

"God who started everything in the book of Genesis could not reverse what Adam and Eve did unless he sacrificed. That tells you the highest and the importance of sacrifice."

The Power of Giving

  • Jesus sat next to the offering basket and watched how people gave — He declared that the widow gave more than everyone else because she gave out of everything she had.
  • Cornelius gave to the poor and his giving and prayers rose up as a memorial before God — an angel appeared and connected him to Peter, and his entire household was saved as a result.
  • The life of a believer is centered on giving — where you give, why you give, who you give to, and the ground you give to all determine your results.

"The life of a believer is in giving. For God so loved the world, he gave. God attributed our salvation by his giving. What makes you think that you cannot attain something by your giving?"

"There is nothing that turns God more on more than giving. Nothing."

Key Definitions

Pisteuo — The highest dimension of faith; the faith of God Himself, in which the believer operates with creative authority — not bound by God's specific promises or declared will, but where every word spoken comes to pass and every place the feet tread is possessed.

Promise-based faith — The first and lowest dimension of faith, in which a believer operates within what God has said will happen at a future time; powerful but limited by timeline and confined to what God has specifically declared.

Will of God (in faith) — The second dimension of faith, operating within what God has already revealed and enacted — such as healing through the cross — distinct from a future promise because it is already established and available now.

Sacrifice — Not merely an act of giving, but the spiritual mechanism by which things are transferred in the Kingdom of God; nothing spiritual moves without it, and even God Himself operated within this law to redeem humanity.

The Prophet's Office (Pisteuo level) — A prophetic dimension in which the prophet does not merely relay what God is saying but operates with God's own creative authority — one word spoken from this office is sufficient to change the course of a person's life.

Mustard seed faith — The lowest recognizable level of faith; commonly misunderstood as a standard to aspire to, but Jesus used it as a point of rebuke — condemning it as insufficient, not commending it as a model.

Key Takeaways

  • Pisteuo is the faith of God Himself — Understanding this distinction prevents believers from settling for lower dimensions of faith when God has designed them for creative authority.
  • Healing is God's will, not God's promise — Treating healing as a future promise when it was already enacted on the cross means operating beneath what the cross already secured.
  • No spiritual transfer occurs without sacrifice — Recognizing this principle explains why many believers remain spiritually stagnant despite consuming information — growth requires cost, not just knowledge.
  • Giving is the mechanism through which God's attention and blessing are attracted — Cornelius's story is proof that sacrificial giving creates a memorial before God that releases divine instruction and intervention.
  • Who you listen to determines your spiritual ceiling — Different ministers carry different foundations and jurisdictions; sitting under the wrong or mixed voices limits how high your understanding can be built.

Reflection Questions

  1. Which dimension of faith are you currently operating in — promise-based, will-based, or Pisteuo — and what would it look like in your daily life to move into the next level?
  2. Have you been treating healing, provision, or another area of God's will as a future promise rather than an already-enacted reality? What would change in how you pray and declare if you understood it as His will?
  3. When you examine your giving — where you give, why you give, and who you give to — does it reflect the spiritual seriousness that Cornelius demonstrated? What needs to change?
  4. Is there an area of your life where you have been waiting on a word from God before you move, when God may already have given you the authority to act and possess it?
  5. What sacrifice are you currently unwilling to make, and could that be the very thing preventing a spiritual transfer you have been believing for?
